Special issue title: Point of Care Testing Tool Development in Health and Disease
Background: Point of care testing tools(POCT) has revolutionized management of diseases. Easy to use glucometers have made the management of diabetes mellitus more patient friendly. There is a considerable recent interest in POCT development in a wide range of disorders. It ranges from commonly happening hypertension to the rare inherited inborn errors of metabolism. In this issue we plan to publish the latest breakthrough in POCT development in medicine.
